Music Faves

I was scrolling through my iPod yesterday and came across a song i just hadn’t listened to in quite sometime. It is a song that reminds me of Orlando, Florida. It’s a song that reminds me of struggles I had growing up in a dysfunctional family. It reminds me of all those kids out there who feel like they are trapped…no way out. A future which is not part of their dreams.

I love this song. If you listen…maybe you will too.

oh yes, sarah mclachlan has that haunting voice and you can just get lost in her music. or i do, atleast. fumbling towards ecstacy was her best album, she has and always will remain one of my favorite artists. i love that song and ‘good enough’, good enough makes me cry sometimes, depending on my mood.

    did u get my e-mail?

Sure enough, sis. Glad to see someone is paying attention. :-)

I’ve been a Sarah fan since I first heard “Drawn To The Rhythm”, early 90’s. Great voice, moody. I like that.

yes, i agree. that haunting voice, lyrics that seem like derive from her personal journal, and you have to love the courage of someone airing their dirty laundry like that. i personally look for that in music, or something i can relate to. i know daphne did like just about every kind of genre of music, and it’s obvious you do, and i do as well, maybe it’s genetic? ;)
