01
The Assignment
Jace Adair can walk inside a person's mind and take what he needs. After a routine extraction, he's handed something that isn't routine at all: a decorated Agency veteran who went rogue, won't talk, and apparently knew Jace was coming.
-
02
Unnatural Resistance
Jace enters Sawyer's mind and finds something that shouldn't exist: a defense built specifically for him, calibrated to his methods, and apparently aware he's coming. When the wall pushes back, three fragments bleed through before it seals.
-
03
Project Echo
Kat traces six months of invisible data theft to a front company called Paladin Consulting, and to a thirty-one-year-old document with a single unredacted name on it. When Jace goes back into Sawyer's mind looking for seams, he finds the center. What is waiting there knows his name.
-
04
Breaking the Rogue
With twelve hours before Division pulls the line, Jace makes one final entry into Sawyer's collapsed mindscape. He goes in for the operation. He comes out carrying something he wasn't sent to retrieve.
-
05
The Failsafe
Kat's financial analysis surfaces a sitting government official with Paladin fingerprints on his policy record. Jace arranges the approach. He gets into the room. That's where things stop going according to plan.
-
06
Brother's Shadow
The Adair brothers reunite for the first time in eight years at a safe house in rural Montana. What they find when they compare notes is not just an investigation. It's a shared inheritance neither of them asked for.
-
07
Family Reunion
The Refuge shares everything about the Broken Echo. Kat builds a trap and springs it. The mole surfaces. And Jace walks into a room he shouldn't walk into, for the only reason that has ever mattered.

How it works
Is it really free?
Yes. Every episode, start to finish, at no charge. If you want to put something in the tip jar there is a Buy Me a Coffee link inside the archive, and that is the whole business model. It keeps the serial free for everyone else.
Why do you need my email?
Because a serial that nobody remembers to come back to is a serial nobody finishes. New episodes go out by newsletter the morning they publish. You can leave the list at any time with one click, and the door stays unlocked on this device either way.
Do I have to read it in order?
Yes, this one you do. WARLOCKS is a single continuous case, not a set of standalone cases. Start at episode one.
Will there be a book?
When the season closes, it becomes a book. Subscribers hear about that first, and the serial stays up regardless.
What is with the classified look?
The archive and the episodes are laid out as a case file, because that is what Jace is reading too. It is a different room from the rest of this site on purpose.
